Activating the counter
The counter is installed in your user directory. Check your /cgi-bin/BSCounter/ directory for "data" directory.If this directory does not exist, create it. You need to add your site name into the script source code, e.g.

@allowed = ("stanback.net", "www.yoursite.com");

To activate the counter, you need to enter the name of the page the counter will be placed on. Also, select the style of the counter, i.e. the way it will look on this page.
